The End Is Nigh!!

Wow!! I can't believe that we are at the end of another year - time passes so quickly nowadays! - must be a sign of getting old!!!

Well, we had a fantastic Christmas which we spent with lots of family and friends! Christmas Day morning, the girls' Dad came round to see them and he stayed for a while playing with all their new toys and fitting batteries in toys etc!! Then, we went to my Dad's later in the morning and spent the day with him and my brothers which was fantastic. Unfortunately, Pete had man-flu but give him his due, he did manage to muster up enough energy to play 'Pass The Bomb' which he gave to the girls for Christmas. He then used his 'man-flu' as an excuse for when he lost!!!

Boxing Day was a lazy morning and then in the afternoon we went to my aunt's - well, technically, it wasn't their house!! They were flooded out of their house last summer and are still waiting for repairs to get done, so are renting a small house which is in no way big enough for everybody to visit, so they hired the downstairs of their church building which has a kitchen, lounge and games room (with table tennis table!!), and we had a family party! I think there were about 16 of us there, if I can count right!!!

Then, the day after Boxing day, my EHD decided that my 'My Pictures' folder was corrupt :( Very bad news!! I had most of my photos backed up - till about 2 months ago, but a lot of the newer pics are fortunately still on my camera. So, I am off to the computer repair shop at the end of this week to see if they can retrieve anything from it - all my fonts and digikits :( So, here's hoping it will be all sorted!

Tonight, we are off to our friends the McGregor's for new year. The Davis' are going too so it should be a laugh! Dad is driving us over there and then we have got a taxi booked to bring us home in the early hours of tomorrow morning - yeah, I can drink!!!!! Even when Colin and I were together it was me that didn't drink and had to drive, so it will be nice to be able to let my hair down a bit!!!
