The only bad thing is that she has come back with humongous tonsils - again!! Before she went away, she had spent 20 of the previous 23 days on antibiotics for tonsillitis, and now she has it again! They don't like to take them out but am going to push for it now cos this is getting ridiculous!
Emi and Lucie have had colds. but even though Lucie keeps telling me that her tonsils must be big too, they aren't! I guess that's probably cos of the change in weather - it's gone all cold and damp, what we really need is a short sharp cold spell to kill all the germs going around!!!
Emi is taking part in her year group's production of Grease next week. They have learnt the words and dances to the songs from Grease and are performing them on Tuesday. They have also designed props and backdrops for the performance. Now, I didn't think that she was particularly artistic but, she and one of her class mates have designed and painted part of the back-drop!!
Lucie is really enjoying Junior School. In fact, I had her and Alice's parent teacher meeting this evening, but if I write about that now, this post will be really long! She is loving her violin lessons and recorder lessons. She is having recorder lessons with some year 4 and 5s (she is year 3) because she is so way ahead of where they are, or will be once the music room is finished and we can start teaching them! She is really ahead of the others in her group too, but I don't want to push her too much!
This post is already too long and probably boring, so here are a couple of layouts I have done recently! This one was one I did for Alice the week she was away with school.

I just had to scrap this photo of Lucie which I took when we all went for a walk to put some flowers on my Mum's grave. I cannot believe that it was 5 years ago last week that she died! But Lucie's comment on the day just made me giggle, cos it would have made my Mum giggle too!! The journalling reads: ""When we walked up to Bramshott Church and visited the graveyard there, Lucie was very interested in the war memorial which is dedicated to all the Canadian soldiers who fought locally during the first World War. Her first words to me when she saw it were "Is that where God is buried?"
