Half Term!

Well, its half term so all 3 girls are at home for the week which has been fun and busy!! Tuesday, we went to see Becky and Bethan - I can't believe how quickly she is growing up - her favourite word right now is 'no' which she uses a lot - especially when she has to go in her pushchair rather than walk!!! On Wednesday we went out with my Dad to Weald and Downland Open Air Museum after lunch at MacDonalds! It was great fun as they had lots of half term activities to do with harvest etc and the girls got to make corn dollies and had a go at lace-making. Today, Emi has gone out for the day with her friend Thea, Lucie has her friend Olivia round and Alice is going to her friend Chloe's birthday party after I have taken her back to the doctor's for yet another appointment for her swollen tonsils! Then tomorrow, Emi is going to her friend Karolina's house and then it is Liphook Carnival which will be great fun as usual, I am sure!! I am so glad that the girls did all of their homework last weekend, otherwise they would be in big trouble come Monday/Tuesday - they have been so busy this week!

Here some layouts which I have done over the last few days. The first LO is of Lucie when she dressed up as a cat a couple of years ago.

This next layout is photos of Alice and Emily helping Bethan to walk across the rec back in the summer - she was trying so hard to be just like her big friends!!

Alice loves the idea of playing her violin like a mandolin which was Pete's idea! So, he taught her to play Harvest home, a folk tune - he played it on his mandolin, she used her violin like it was a mandolin!

I love this next photo of my girls. It was taken a few weeks ago when we went to visit my Mum's grave. We usually go on the anniversary of when she died, but we went a couple of days early as Alice was away on the actual day. We spent quite a while putting flowers on her grave and remembering her and things she used to do/say with the girls.

This next layout is an older photo which I took over the summer holidays. We took the girls and Emily's friend Claudia to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and they had a great time catching up and playing.
