Well, apparently, it is summer, but if the weather is anything to go by, its actually autumn!! I can't believe we have had this much rain! But, we've still managed to have a busy week so far! Am in the process of getting Alice and Lucie's room ready to redecorate which isn't much fun - have nowhere to put them whilst we clear the room which is the way I usually like to redecorate, so am thinking this will be a gradual process!!
On Tuesday my car had to go in to be fixed - exhaust wrecked when I grounded it on my friend's drive - oops!!! lol!! Fortunately, it was covered by the insurance as it was quite a lot of money, so no biggie! We had a cute little Nissan micra as our courtesy car - the girls thought it was really cute and wanted to keep it, until I pointed out that none of their friends would be able to come out with us as they wouldn't fit in the back!! Had to go and pick ours up this morning, and all is now ok with it!
Lucie went to Olivia's for the day yesterday, so I went to the gym and Emi and Alice went swimming - it is so good that they get to swim for free over there - means that they can go over anytime we want - and the pool is open a lot over the holidays. Today, Emily has her friend Thea here for the day as a kind of birthday celebration as she wasn't well enough for her to come on her actual birthday. Next week we have Alice's birthday and her friend is coming for the day and sleepover next week! There are just not enough hours in the day to do everything that we all want to do, but we'll do the best we can!!
I even got a little bit of scrapping time! wooo hooo!!!! Its only 2 layouts, but its better than none!! The first layout is of Lucie when she dressed up as Annie for the Planet Dance Show and the second is of Emi on her birthday!
