Anyway, the girls are settled back into school really well - working hard and enjoying themselves. The Junior School had an artificial ice rink in the school hall on Wednesday which Emi and Alice went to and really enjoyed! Its great that they want to go back to school in the evenings to do social things too - I think its important for them to see it as somewhere to have fun as well as to learn! Lucie has been to 2 birthday parties and to tea at a friends since she's been back, so I guess that means she has settled back in well too!
They went back to their swimming lesons on Monday and Lucie moved up a group which was pretty good seeing as she missed 5 lessons last term due to her broken arm!! The other two haven't moved up, but that is a good thing as they are the only 2 in their group at the moment as opposed to about 6 in the next group up!! So, as long as they are happy in that group and still learning, which they are, then thats great!
Well, enough waffle, here are some LOs I've done over the last 10 days!!
This first LO won me Layout of The Day at Scrapbookers Playground which I was over the moon about! It is of Lucie not long after she had thrown up everywhere!!! The journalling reads "You were feeling so unwell this day, but you insisted that I took this photo of you so that I could do a 'sick' layout"!!! She certainly is a scrapbooker's daughter!! I used Lovin' Lucie by Brokenjar Creations which was named after my Lucie, and a layered template by Michelle Swadling.

This layout is a photo of my grandparents on their wedding day. They got married just before the start of World War 2. The title and the invitation are scans of their original wedding stationery. I used Treats From The Past by Dragons Lair Designs which was perfect for the heritage feel to the layout - I usually struggle with heritage layouts, but was really pleased with how this turned out.

I took this photo of Lucie on Tuesday when Emi and Alice were out at Ambassadors. We came home after dropping them off, and Lucie read her school reading book to me. I then thought that she would make the most of being here on her own and go on one of the computers, but not at all!! She went upstairs, found her new book "Paige The Pantomime Fairy" and sat down on the sofa to read! She loves books, especially now that she can read 'real' books all be herself! I used Blush Blossom by Neverland Scraps, a really pretty, girlie kit!!

This is quite an old photo which was taken a couple of years ago when we visited Becky down in Worthing. We got McFlurrys from MacDonalds and went and sat in the park to eat them - I love the way Becky is looking at Lucie - I think she really wants some of her ice cream!! I used Treats from The Past again, and a chrome template by Dragons Lair Designs.

I just had to use Wendy's Lovin' Lucie kit again, and thought it worked really well with these photos of Lucie doing headstands at Queen Elizabeth Country Park back in the summer. I used a layered template by Neverland Scraps which I thought worked really well with the 'action' photos!!
